ChatGPT does not currently require any introduction. Its usage has expanded globally on a broad scale.

Some have taken ideas from ChatGPT, while others have successfully used it to learn dietary regulations and achieve weight loss. However, the widespread use of ChatGPT has reached a point where it poses a potential threat to decision-making committees.

According to recent events, an author wrote an entire novel using ChatGPT. Not only did this novel receive critical acclaim, but it also achieved the distinction of being the best novel. This incident took place in Japan. Japanese author Rei Kudo’s novel, ‘The Tokyo Tower of Symmetry,’ earned recognition in Japan’s most prestigious literary awards. Following the award, Kudo made a unique revelation in her acceptance speech. She acknowledged that ChatGPT played a significant role in shaping her novel, taking on a substantial role in her writing process.

the 33-year-old Kudo was honored for her novel with the prestigious Akutagawa Prize in Japan. However, she revealed that 5% of the words in her novel were entirely generated by AI. Additionally, she mentioned using ChatGPT for the theme of her book.

Keichiro Hirano, a member of the author and award committee, posted on the social media site X, stating that Kudo did not see the use of AI in literature as a problem. According to him, the author emphasized the use of generic AI in writing and, although it could potentially create concerns in the future of literary writing, it was not the case with ‘The Tokyo Tower of Symmetry.’
